Lineup of four Japanese films and animations is to screen at Japan Embassy in Iran.
The screenings will take place on February 28 and 29 at two venues which are the Japanese Embassy in Iran and the Farabi Cinema Foundation.
‘Rudolf the Black Cat’ directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakibara and ‘Samurai Cat’ directed by Yoshitaka Yamaguchi are the announced titles that will screen at Farabi Cinema Foundation. The event is free for anyone who wishes to attend it.
The Japanese Embassy will also hold the other two screenings which are for the films ‘Pop in Q’ directed by Naoki Miyahara and Makoto Shinkai’s ‘Your Name’.
‘Rudolf the Black Cat’ is about a little black pet cat that has never left his home. Once, Rudolf follows steps out of the house in the wish to know the world outside the home.
‘Samurai Cat’ narrates the story of Kyutaro, a famous swordsman who is hired by a gang to kill their rival's cat. When he sees the cute little kitten, he cannot kill it which angers both gangs.
Miyahara’s ‘Pop in Q’ is about some young girls who rise to solve a universal crisis.
And eventually, ‘Your Name’ is about a teenage boy and girl who embark on a quest to meet each other for the first time after they magically swap bodies.
